ritual and celebration burning

Apple wood smouldered into charcoal and added to a barbecue fire gives a fragrance that inspired joy, so there is some magic with that..

wands and staves

As dried Apple wood is very hard I suspect it makes useful and precious walking sticks. I have seen folks with Apple walking sticks use them to mark out a circle, and within this circle is where ritual, meditation, folk drama or some kind of performance is carried out.

Wands of Apple are used to draw the breath of the Fae closer to share otherworld inspiration and enlighten a group of people present with joy.

divination

Some folks who divine with Ogham make sets of carved ogham sign sticks from thin Apple tree branches.
